What are cookies?

Cookies we use

LifeCheckIQ uses two categories of cookies:

• Essential cookies. We use a single essential cookie (lciq_consent) to remember that you have seen and responded to our cookie consent banner, so it does not reappear on every visit. This cookie does not track you across other websites.
• Advertising cookies. LifeCheckIQ displays advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may set cookies on your device to serve ads, measure ad performance, and personalise the ads you see based on your browsing activity. We do not control these cookies directly — they are set and managed by Google under its own policies.

We do not currently use separate analytics tracking cookies (such as Google Analytics) beyond what is described above.

Managing cookies

Most web browsers let you control cookies through their settings, including blocking cookies entirely or deleting existing ones. Because blocking essential cookies may affect how parts of the site work (for example, the cookie banner may reappear on every visit), we recommend managing advertising cookies specifically through the Google Ads Settings link above, or through your browser's cookie preferences.

You can also opt out of personalised advertising more broadly through industry tools such as Your Online Choices (EU/UK) or AboutAds.info (US).

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for legal and regulatory reasons. Please check back periodically.
